So, are we in a bubble or what? I would totally write perhaps a $35,000 check and not a penny more, but here in the land of silicon and silliness we have this:

No, you can almost get a new SS for that, which is basically the same thing, only newer and better.

$25k tops for this, and that’s being quite generous.

Nope - lots and lots of cars you could buy new for that money, and lots and lots of cars you could get with a CarMax warranty. CP by at least 10K .

Love the car, but extreme CP. Save a few grand more and get a new one with the same three pedals and better suspension tech.

Pontiac lovers *raises hand* covet the GXP. They want a performance car to say Pontiac on it. They do seem to command much higher prices than the GT. Which itself is getting more than it is worth. I see that car selling for around $35K. If not it will go across the suction block again.

Nope. V6 = AUTO only, the v8 can be on the detuned GT version = AUTO only, and GXP (auto or manual)

That it was. A neighbor has a GT. Nice car. Took me for a ride in it. Plenty of power.

Yep they’re out there alright but people hold onto them dearly. They never want to give them up. A few years back a used car lot had a Firehawk G8 GT with 50k on the dash for about $22k. If I wasn’t upside down on my loan I would have traded my car in and its sweet nectar would have been all mine!!!!
